Every now and then we see same questions being asked and same rules being broken. Here's a few to get everyone on the same page. All requested memberships will be voted on by current members. People not meeting the groups expectations in quality or criteria will most likely be rejected. You be have some 'Web-Design' related content in your gallery, and it must also be of high quality. We are a huge group with more than 4000 Members. So please respect our decision if we decline you or your deviation in the vote-process. We can not comment every work and can not give you a reason for decline immediately. We try to keep the group standard very high, to represent the best webdesigns on deviantart. Good luck  1) How to Become a Contributor If you are currently a member and wish to become a contributor then you have to: a) Leave the group as a member. b) Re-apply to join our group as a contributor. Consequently, we will review your portfolio and if you fit our group's standards you will be accepted. Otherwise, you are welcome to join back as a member and try again at a later date. 2) Pick the Right Category Sometimes the galleries in groups are buggy but that is no reason to submit your works to inappropriate categories. Always try to submit your work to the appropriate category and if it fails, notify us. 3) Don't Nominate Yourself This one is more of an ethical, unspoken rule among artists. Don't nominate your own work for Features. We see this all the time. 4) Upload the right image Do not upload logotypes, paintings or stuff, that does not fit with our group standards and a group claim. Please upload the whole site (Header to Footer) everything. We not accept screenshots with browserframe and half visible page! Side Note If you are trying to join as a contributor or member, at least make sure that you are a web designer. We constantly have some great artists applying to become a contributor but this is a web design and development group. You have to be one of those to become a contributor. Otherwise, you are always welcome to join as a regular member. Thank you for your time. |
A good reason to show and feature the top 5 in webdesign, we have got in 12 months. It was very hard to select the best of the best, because we have so many good designs in our group. Thank you for all your entrys! Have fun, and keep creative in 2013!
